Material Controller

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Material Controller in Qatar. Our client is a reputed organization seeking skilled and motivated professionals with experience in material planning, coordination, procurement, and ERP-based material control. Candidates with relevant experience and SAP or other ERP system knowledge are encouraged to apply early as positions are limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning, receipt, storage, and movement of materials required for operational activities.
  
• Monitor material requirements and maintain accurate material availability records.
  
• Coordinate with procurement teams to follow up on purchase requirements and material deliveries.
  
• Maintain material transactions and inventory information using SAP or other ERP systems.
  
• Verify received materials against purchase orders and relevant documentation.
  
• Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages or discrepancies requiring corrective action.
  
• Coordinate material issuance to relevant departments while maintaining proper records.
  
• Prepare material status, inventory, and procurement follow-up reports for operational requirements.
  

Required Skills

1. Material Planning: Ability to monitor requirements and ensure materials are available when required.
   
2. Material Coordination: Experience coordinating material receipt, storage, movement, and issuance.
   
3. Procurement Coordination: Understanding of purchase requirements, follow-ups, and material delivery processes.
   
4. SAP / ERP: Practical experience using SAP or another ERP system for material-related transactions.
   
5. Inventory Control: Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and identify stock discrepancies.
   

Preferred Skills

• Supply chain and logistics knowledge.
  
• Material documentation and reporting skills.
  
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and stock-control procedures.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates must have 3 years of experience in a material planning, coordinating, or procurement role. Experience working with SAP or another ERP system is required. Relevant hands-on exposure to material and inventory processes is preferred.

Education

• Minimum: ITI or Trade Apprenticeship / Higher Secondary Education
  
• Preferred: Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
