Project Engineer – Piping

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Project Engineer – Piping in Qatar. Our client is seeking skilled, motivated professionals with strong piping project engineering and execution experience. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate piping engineering activities throughout project execution.
  
• Review piping drawings, specifications, layouts, isometrics, and related technical documents.
  
• Coordinate piping fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities at project sites.
  
• Monitor project schedules, work progress, manpower requirements, and engineering deliverables.
  
• Ensure piping activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality requirements, and applicable engineering standards.
  
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, safety, procurement, and other project teams.
  
• Identify technical and site-related piping issues and coordinate appropriate engineering resolutions.
  
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and project status updates for relevant stakeholders.
  

Required Skills

1. Piping Engineering: Strong understanding of piping systems and engineering requirements for project execution.
   
2. Piping Drawings: Ability to interpret piping layouts, isometrics, specifications, and technical drawings.
   
3. Project Execution: Experience coordinating piping activities from planning through installation and completion.
   
4. Site Coordination: Ability to coordinate effectively with construction, engineering, QA/QC, procurement, and other project functions.
   
5. Quality & Technical Compliance: Understanding of piping quality requirements, specifications, inspection requirements, and engineering standards.
   

Preferred Skills

• Piping fabrication and erection coordination.
  
• Testing and commissioning knowledge.
  
• Project planning, progress monitoring, and technical documentation.
  

Work Experience Requirements

The posting requires 10–12 years of experience. Candidates should have substantial experience relevant to piping engineering and project execution, preferably involving multidisciplinary engineering and site coordination.

Education

• Minimum: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
