Continental Cook / Senior Cook

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Continental Cook / Senior Cook in Kuwait. Our client, is seeking skilled and motivated culinary professionals with experience supporting remote oil rig, marine, or large-scale industrial catering operations. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality Western, Mediterranean, European, and other Continental dishes for multinational rig personnel.
  
• Execute daily meal preparation while maintaining consistent taste, presentation, portioning, and nutritional balance.
  
• Follow approved menus and ensure adequate menu variety for personnel working in remote locations.
  
• Maintain strict food safety, personal hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards throughout kitchen operations.
  
• Operate effectively in a high-demand environment involving 12-hour shifts on remote onshore or offshore oil rigs.
  
• Monitor ingredients and stock usage to minimize food wastage and ensure cost-effective kitchen operations.
  
• Maintain clean and sanitized food-preparation areas, cooking equipment, utensils, and storage facilities.
  
• Supervise kitchen activities and support efficient coordination of food preparation and service where required.
  

Required Skills

• Continental Cooking: Strong practical ability to prepare authentic Continental dishes.
  
• Western & European Cuisine: Experience preparing a variety of Western and European menu items.
  
• Mediterranean Cuisine: Knowledge of Mediterranean cooking methods, ingredients, and dishes.
  
• Food Safety & HACCP: Ability to maintain strict hygiene and food-safety standards in catering operations.
  
• Kitchen Management: Ability to organize food preparation, stock usage, sanitation, and kitchen activities efficiently.
  

Preferred Skills

• Remote oil-rig or offshore catering experience.
  
• Large-scale industrial or marine catering exposure.
  
• Kitchen supervision experience, particularly for Senior Cook candidates.
