Indian / Arabic Cook

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Indian / Arabic Cook in Kuwait. Our client  is seeking skilled and motivated catering professionals with experience preparing authentic Indian and/or Arabic cuisine in high-volume catering environments. The position involves preparing meals for rig crew members while maintaining strict offshore/onshore food safety, hygiene, quality, and dietary standards. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic, high-quality North Indian, South Indian, and/or Arabic dishes according to established menus and standards.
  
• Prepare and cook meals in large quantities for rig crew members and other personnel.
  
• Collaborate with the Camp Boss and kitchen team to plan and cycle menus on a weekly basis.
  
• Maintain appropriate portion sizes to ensure consistency and minimize food waste.
  
• Follow HACCP principles and established food safety and hygiene procedures throughout food preparation and service.
  
• Keep cooking stations, utensils, kitchen equipment, cold storage areas, and preparation areas clean and organized.
  
• Ensure food is prepared, cooked, stored, and presented according to required hygiene and safety standards.
  
• Coordinate with the kitchen crew to ensure timely preparation and service of high-volume meals.
  

Required Skills

Indian / Arabic Cuisine: Strong practical knowledge of authentic Indian and/or Arabic cooking techniques and dishes.

Large-Scale Catering: Ability to prepare consistent meals in high volumes for large groups.

Food Safety & HACCP: Working knowledge of HACCP principles and safe food preparation, handling, storage, and sanitation practices.

Portion & Waste Control: Ability to maintain standardized portions while minimizing unnecessary food waste.

Kitchen Hygiene: Strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation requirements for cooking stations, utensils, equipment, and food-storage areas.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in oil rigs, remote land camps, or marine vessel catering.
  
• Experience working in high-volume commercial kitchens.
