Do you enjoy a good chat, sharing stories, and connecting with others? We are looking for a friendly Social Volunteer to visit a gentleman for one hour each week and provide companionship and conversation.

This gentleman enjoys watching YouTube, listening to the radio, and most of all, socialising and having a good chat. He would appreciate spending time with someone who enjoys friendly conversation, sharing a laugh, and talking about everyday interests.

Your weekly visits can provide valuable social connection and give him something enjoyable to look forward to each week. Sometimes, just an hour of your time and a listening ear can make a wonderful difference.

Your impact

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week-

Monday to Sunday

Flexible times: anywhere between 9am and 5pm

30 minutes to 1 hour per visit
