Fabricator – Marine

Responsibilities

Carry out fabrication, cutting, fitting, grinding, and assembly of marine structural components.
Fabricate and repair supports, frames, platforms, brackets, handrails, and deck structures.
Read and follow fabrication drawings, measurements, and job specifications.
Use cutting, grinding, drilling, and fabrication tools safely.
Coordinate with welders, fitters, and marine crew during fabrication activities.
Follow PTW, hot work, housekeeping, and HSE requirements.

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of welding experience in marine projects.
Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports, or marine facilities.
Skilled in SMAW / GTAW / FCAW / MIG welding as applicable.
Able to read basic fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
Valid Welder Qualification Certificate / trade certificate preferred.
Good knowledge of hot work safety and marine working conditions.
