We are looking for a Lead Engineer – MERN Stack to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications using the MERN technology stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js). The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, experience leading a development team, and the ability to drive end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
  
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
  
• Mentor and guide developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices.
  
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features on time.
  
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.js.
  
• Develop responsive and reusable front-end components using React.js.
  
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
  
• Integrate third-party APIs and cloud services.
  
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical documentation.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and ensure application reliability.
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  
• Experience with Redux, React Hooks, Context API, and state management.
  
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JWT authentication, OAuth, and API security.
  
• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Understanding of microservices architecture and scalable backend development.
  
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
  
• Experience with Next.js is an added advantage.
  
• Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
  
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology.
  
• Experience working with Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka is preferred.
