Project Planning and Scheduler

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Project Planning and Scheduler in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Our client is seeking experienced civil engineering professionals with strong project planning and scheduling capabilities. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for civil engineering and construction activities.
  
• Prepare baseline schedules and update project programmes based on actual progress.
  
• Monitor project progress against planned milestones, activities, and completion dates.
  
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and project teams to maintain schedule alignment.
  
• Identify schedule delays, critical activities, and potential impacts on project completion.
  
• Prepare progress reports, schedule updates, and project planning documentation.
  
• Support project controls activities through progress measurement and schedule analysis.
  
• Coordinate recovery and mitigation plans for schedule deviations.
  

Required Skills

1. Project Planning — ability to develop and maintain structured project plans.
   
2. Project Scheduling — experience managing construction schedules and milestones.
   
3. Primavera P6 — relevant scheduling and programme-management capability.
   
4. Civil Engineering — strong understanding of civil construction activities.
   
5. Project Controls — experience monitoring planned versus actual progress.
   
6. Progress Monitoring — ability to analyse project performance and schedule variance.
   

Preferred Skills

• Experience with major construction or infrastructure projects.
  
• Knowledge of project controls and schedule recovery techniques.
  
• Experience working in GCC/Saudi construction environments.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience is required. Candidates should have substantial experience in project planning and scheduling within civil engineering or construction environments. Experience with large-scale projects and project controls is preferred.

Education

• Minimum: Bachelor of Civil Engineering
  
• Preferred: Postgraduate qualification/certification in project management or project controls
  
• Additional: Primavera P6 / project-controls certification preferred
