SAP FICO Super User

Job Summary

The SAP FICO Super User will provide functional support for SAP Finance and Controlling processes, serving as the key link between the Finance, IT, and end-user teams. The role will support SAP FICO operations, troubleshoot system issues, assist with month-end closing, train users, and drive process improvements across the business.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for SAP FICO queries and issues.
  
• Provide support across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO).
  
• Support SAP integration with Production Planning (PP), including production costs, goods movements, and reconciliations.
  
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate SAP FICO issues to IT or SAP support teams.
  
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and reconciliations.
  
• Participate in SAP testing, upgrades, enhancements, and system rollouts.
  
• Train end users and develop SAP user guides, SOPs, and process documentation.
  
• Support SAP master data management and ensure data accuracy.
  
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
  
• Ensure SAP finance processes comply with internal controls and Nigerian tax requirements.
  
• Prepare financial and management reports as required.
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
• 5–8 years of relevant finance/business systems experience.
  
• Minimum 3 years' hands-on SAP FICO experience in a live environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of SAP GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO.
  
• Working knowledge of SAP PP integration.
  
• Previous experience as an SAP Super User, Key User, or Power User is preferred.
  
• SAP S/4HANA experience is an advantage.
  
• ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
  
• Knowledge of Nigerian VAT, WHT, and statutory reporting requirements.
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and training skills.
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP reporting tools.
