Our client, a leading technology and industrial equipment company in Vietnam, is looking for a qualified talent to join their firm.

JOB OVERVIEW

• Lead the research and development of new products serving the organization’s core business domains, including fire prevention, firefighting and rescue solutions, AI cameras, UAVs, autonomous robots, and security and safety monitoring platforms.
  
• The role is responsible for identifying the right products for the right markets with sustainable profitability.
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage the organization’s three-to-five-year product portfolio.
  
• Conduct market research and develop product roadmaps, Market Requirements Documents (MRD), Product Requirements Documents (PRD), and detailed P&L plans.
  
• Define product positioning and pricing strategies and evaluate the commercial performance of products and services after launch.
  
• Manage the full Product Life Cycle (PLC).
  
• Build and maintain a network of strategic partners to support product development while ensuring product quality and compliance with applicable regulations and requirements of relevant authorities.
  
• Lead and oversee new product development projects.
  
• Work closely with Sales and relevant functions to manage product launches and ensure timely product delivery.
  
• Coordinate with Marketing to develop and execute annual product marketing strategies and campaigns.
  
• Work with the Customer Service function to ensure systems and operational processes run smoothly and to respond promptly to product issues or abnormal situations arising during commercial operations.
  
• Drive continuous product improvement.
  

Requirements

Education and Certifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunications, Data Science, Information Security, Business Administration, or another relevant field is required.
  
• A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, Product Management, or an equivalent discipline is preferred.
  
• Certifications in Product Management, Project Management, Agile, or Scrum are preferred.
  
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, PSPO, CSPO, or equivalent qualifications are considered an advantage.
  
• Certifications related to Information Security or Digital Transformation are also preferred.
  

Experience

• A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in product development, technology, or digital services is required, including at least 3–5 years in a product management role at management or senior level.
  
• The candidate should have experience developing medium- and long-term product portfolios, as well as preparing MRDs, PRDs, product roadmaps, P&L plans, and managing the Product Life Cycle.
  
• Experience working with regulatory authorities, strategic partners, or projects with specific compliance requirements is preferred.
  
• Experience launching large-scale products or complex integrated solutions for large enterprises is considered an advantage.
  

Professional Skills

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end product development, market research, customer analysis, product positioning, and Go-to-Market strategies.
  
• Solid understanding of product financial management, revenue models, P&L management, and investment efficiency evaluation.
  
• Strong knowledge of Project Management, Agile/Scrum, product operations, and continuous product improvement.
  
• Good understanding of applicable regulations relating to products, data, information security, and compliance requirements.
  
• Proficient in standard office applications, presentation and data analysis tools, as well as product and project management platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Notion, or equivalent tools.
  

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership, people management, and team development capabilities.
  
• Strong strategic and product thinking, with solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  
• Strong project management, timeline management, and budget management capabilities.
  
• Effective communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, presentation, and internal training skills.
  
• Proactive, accountable, results-oriented, customer-focused, innovative, and able to work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly to changes in technology and market conditions.
  

Others

• Proficiency in at least one foreign language across listening, speaking, reading, and writing is required. English or Chinese is preferred.
  
• Willingness to travel as required by the role.
  
• An established professional network with technology partners, startup ecosystems, or relevant regulatory organizations is considered an advantage.
