The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and effective day-to-day operations of the luxury lodge, ensuring consistently high standards across all areas of the guest experience and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the lodge.
  
• Ensure exceptional guest service and hospitality standards are consistently maintained.
  
• Lead, manage and motivate the lodge team to achieve operational and service objectives.
  
• Monitor operational standards across all departments and implement improvements where required.
  
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between departments.
  
• Assist with staff scheduling, performance management and ongoing training.
  
• Monitor stock levels, operational costs and departmental budgets.
  
• Ensure lodge policies, procedures and standards are consistently followed.
  
• Handle guest feedback and resolve operational or service-related issues professionally.
  
• Work closely with senior management to achieve the lodge's operational and business objectives.
  
• Maintain a strong focus on efficiency, quality and the overall guest experience.
  
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and company standards.
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an operations or management role within a luxury lodge, safari lodge or high-end hospitality environment.
  
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
  
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  
• A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a remote and demanding hospitality environment.
  
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and guest service standards.
  
• Professional, adaptable and results-driven approach.
