About our Clients

Our client, a well-established and welcoming day nursery, is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to join their team, working alongside the manager in supporting the day to day running of the setting.  An ideal role for someone looking for the next steps with some experience.  40 Hr working week with salary up to £36k depending on experience.  Good transport links and onsite parking.

Requirements

What our Clients are looking for

Essential for the Nursery Deputy Manager Role

A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)

A minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting

Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager

Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices

Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting

Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting

Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting

Ideal Nursery Deputy Manager Candidate

Passionate about early years education and children’s development within a nursery setting

Confident leader, able to motivate and support staff and contribute to the management team

Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards across the setting

Promotes best practice, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the nursery supporting the team on a daily basis
