Rental Operations Manager

The Rental Operations Manager will lead and oversee rental operations across multiple branches and airport counters in Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, Qassim, and Hail.

The role is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, consistent customer service standards, efficient fleet utilization, strong branch performance, and the achievement of operational and commercial targets.

The position will manage multiple branch teams, coordinate closely with Fleet, Maintenance, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and HR departments, and ensure that company policies and strategic initiatives are implemented consistently across all locations.

The position is based in Riyadh and requires frequent travel to rental branches across the Kingdom based on operational and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise front office operations across rental branches and airport counters to ensure smooth daily business activities and high service standards.
  
• Lead branch teams including rental agents, shift supervisors, customer service staff, and operational coordinators to achieve operational and commercial targets.
  
• Ensure efficient handling of customer interactions including reservations, vehicle handover, returns, upgrades, complaints resolution, and loyalty program engagement.
  
• Implement operational procedures to standardize front office activities and enhance customer experience consistency across all locations.
  
• Optimize branch operational performance through workforce planning, scheduling efficiency, and resource allocation.
  
• Coordinate closely with Fleet and Maintenance teams to maximize vehicle availability, minimize downtime, and improve fleet rotation efficiency
  
• Analyze branch and regional performance KPIs including utilization, revenue per rental, conversion rates, customer retention, and operational productivity.
  
• Identify business expansion opportunities including new branch locations, airport operations, corporate partnerships, and high-demand service areas.
  
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support network optimization and expansion strategies.
  
• Coordinate branch opening projects and operational readiness for new locations, ensuring staffing, training, process implementation, and service compliance.
  
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams to support promotional campaigns, seasonal demand planning, and customer acquisition initiatives
  
• Coordinate closely with the Finance Department to monitor branch financial performance, support invoicing accuracy, follow up on pending collections and ensure timely resolution of overdue accounts.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, safety regulations, and brand standards across all branches.
  
• Prepare operational reports and present performance insights, challenges, and recommendations to senior management.
  
• Manage escalated customer and operational issues promptly while maintaining service quality and business continuity.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in car rental operations, rental management, or a similar role.
  
• Previous experience managing multiple rental branches is strongly preferred.
  
• Airport rental operations experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  
• Strong knowledge of daily car rental operations and customer service processes.
  
• Experience managing rental agents, supervisors, customer service teams, and operational coordinators.
  
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  
• Fluent Arabic and excellent English communication skills.
  
• Good knowledge of rental regulations and operational procedures.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  
• Experience using rental, reservation, scheduling, or fleet management systems.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  
• Willingness to travel frequently across Saudi Arabia based on business needs.
  
• Car rental experience within Saudi Arabia.
