Position Summary: Target Domain: Bachelor's or Higher (ABET-Accredited) The Electrical / Electronic Engineer IV serves as a Senior Lead Engineer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division. In this high-impact role, you will champion the architectural design, advanced engineering, and life-cycle validation of complex defense electronics across critical mission portfolios, including Electronic Warfare (EW), Strategic Microelectronics, and Expeditionary Warfare Systems. Operating at a leadership echelon, the Level IV engineer drives hardware modernization strategies, mentors multi-disciplinary engineering cohorts, and interfaces directly with senior DoD stakeholders to preserve technological over match for the war fighter

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Core Competencies: Education & Certification - Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited academic institution. Master's or Ph.D. highly preferred. Professional Experience - Minimum of 8 to 12+ years of progressive engineering experience demonstrating strong technical stewardship over military or complex commercial aerospace electronics life-cycles. Security Clearance - Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance, with the clear eligibility and framework tracking to obtain and maintain a Top Secret / SCI clearance pathway if demanded by mission profile. Software & Design Tools - Advanced mastery of engineering infrastructure design platforms, including SPICE variants, Altium Designer, Ansys HFSS, MATLAB, Simulink, Xilinx Vivado, or key sight ADS. Defense Standards - Deep working knowledge of regulatory military compliance pipelines: MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, IPC standards, and secure microelectronics pedigree standards

Must be able to obtain or have secret or top secret clearance.
