Symbiotic Services is seeking an experienced Fabric Topstitch Sewer for a furniture manufacturing opportunity in Conover, NC. This position operates in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility and offers a consistent schedule of approximately 40–45 hours per week with no Saturdays.

Position Summary

The Fabric Topstitch Sewer will operate an industrial double-needle topstitch machine to follow blind seams on cushions and flatwork. This position requires previous furniture sewing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet production and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate a double-needle topstitch sewing machine for cushion and flatwork production.
  
• Follow blind seams accurately while maintaining consistent stitch quality.
  
• Complete assigned work according to production schedules.
  
• Read and understand production tickets, specifications, and related instructions.
  
• Maintain efficiency while meeting established quality standards.
  
• Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of furniture topstitch/double-needle sewing experience required.
  
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge is a plus.
  
• Effective communication skills.
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Basic computer skills.
  
• Ability to work independently.
  
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, handle, and carry 25+ pounds.
  
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  
• Ability to consistently maintain productivity and quality standards.
