Technical Recruitment Officer

The ideal candidate combines strong recruitment and sourcing skills with a solid understanding of Industrial Engineering principles, manufacturing processes, production operations, and technical job requirements. This role will partner closely with hiring managers to identify, assess, and attract qualified engineering and technical professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle from job requisition to onboarding.
• Source qualified candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
• Recruit for technical positions such as:
  • Industrial Engineers
  • Manufacturing Engineers
  • Process Engineers
  • Production Engineers
  • Quality Engineers
  • Maintenance Engineers
  • Project Engineers
  • Production Supervisors
  • Technical Specialists
• Review and evaluate resumes based on technical qualifications, experience, and job requirements.
• Conduct initial screening interviews and assess candidates' technical and behavioral competencies.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and technical specifications.
• Translate technical requirements into effective job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
• Maintain an active talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill technical positions.
• Coordinate technical interviews, assessments, reference checks, and pre-employment requirements.
• Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, interview-to-hire ratio, and hiring quality.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance with company recruitment policies.
• Participate in career fairs, technical recruitment events, campus recruitment, and industry networking activities.
• Support employer branding and talent acquisition initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering (BSIE)is required or strongly preferred.
• At least1–3 years of experience in technical recruitment, engineering recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, production, process improvement, quality, and operations concepts.
• Ability to understand and evaluate technical job requirements.
• Excellent communication, interviewing, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sourcing and candidate relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment/job-search platforms.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple vacancies and recruitment priorities simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, construction, semiconductor, automotive, electronics, or other industrial companies.
• Familiarity with technical competency assessments and engineering career paths.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Strong LinkedIn sourcing and Boolean search skills.
• Knowledge of local labor market and technical talent availability
