Requirements

We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP S/4HANA Payroll Replication Specialist to design, update configurations, test, and support the replication of employee and organizational data from SuccessFactors Employee Central into SAP S/4HANA Payroll.

The role will serve as the technical expert for employee master data, organizational data, employment events, compensation, time, and payroll-relevant information replicated between systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SuccessFactors Employee Central to SAP S/4HANA Payroll replication.
  
• Update configurations and validate replication of:
  • Personal and biographical data
    
  • Employment and job information
    
  • Organizational assignments
    
  • Compensation and pay components
    
  • Work schedules and time-related data
    
  • Bank, tax, benefits, and payroll-relevant information
    
  • Hire, rehire, transfer, promotion, termination, and organizational-change events
    
• Map Employee Central data to SAP HCM and S/4HANA Payroll structures, including relevant infotypes, personnel actions, wage types, organizational objects, and cost centers.
  
• Configure and monitor middleware integrations using SAP Integration Suite/CPI or the applicable integration framework.
  
• Implement or Update Business Add-ins (BADIs) to support business requirements.
  
• Analyze replication errors, interface failures, data inconsistencies, and rejected employee records.
  
• Lead root-cause analysis across Employee Central, middleware, and S/4HANA Payroll.
  
• Validate employee and organizational data after replication into S/4HANA.
  
• Support payroll-relevant integration for:
  • Time management
    
  • Benefits
    
  • Payroll control records
    
  • Costing and Finance
    
  • Banks and payment providers
    
  • Third-party applications
    
• Define technical specifications for enhancements, mappings, validations, and error-handling processes.
  
• Lead unit, integration, regression, parallel, user acceptance, and payroll validation testing.
  
• Perform data reconciliation between Employee Central and S/4HANA Payroll.
  
• Support production incident resolution.
  
• Maintain configuration workbooks, mapping documents, interface specifications, test scripts, and support procedures.
  
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Integration, Security, and technical development teams.
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP HCM/S/4HANA Payroll.
  
• Demonstrated experience delivering or supporting EC-to-S/4HANA Payroll replication.
  
• Strong understanding of:
  • Employee Central data model
    
  • Employment and job information
    
  • Effective-dated transactions
    
  • Employee Central business rules and workflows
    
  • SAP HCM personnel administration
    
  • Infotypes and personnel actions
    
  • Organizational management
    
  • Payroll-relevant master data

• Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite/CPI or comparable SAP integration tooling.
  
• SAP ABAP Hands-on coding expert to update or implement BADI’s or S/4HANA enhancements.
  
• Experience troubleshooting interfaces, replication queues, middleware messages, and payroll master-data errors.
  
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle events and their downstream payroll impact.
  
• Experience creating functional specifications, mapping documents, and test scenarios.
  
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
