What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Build & Implementation

• Install, configure, and hardenUNIX/Linux servers.
• Build and configureDevelopment, Test, UAT, and Productionenvironments.
• Configure serverstorage, networking, security, and system services.

Project & L3 Support

• ProvideL3 infrastructure supportand resolve complex server issues.
• Collaborate with application, database, network, cloud, and security teams.
• Support infrastructure planning, design reviews, deployments, and cutover activities.
• Ensure infrastructure readiness for application onboarding and releases.

Automation

• DevelopShell and Python scriptsfor server provisioning and operational automation.
• Implement configuration management andInfrastructure-as-Code (IaC)practices.
• Standardise server builds and deployment procedures.

Security & Compliance

• ImplementOS hardening and security best practices.
• Perform patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory security standards.

Documentation

• Create and maintainTechnical Design Documents (TDDs), SOPs, build documents, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Provide knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.

Must-Have Skills

• StrongLinux Administration, particularlyRHEL / Oracle Linux.
• Strong experience inUNIX/Linux server build, configuration, and security hardening.
• StrongShell ScriptingandPython automationskills.
• Experience withHigh Availability and Clustering, preferablyVeritas Cluster / VCS FSS.
• Experience withStorage: SAN/NAS and LVM.
• Strong troubleshooting and L3 support experience.

Good to Have

• Experience withAWS, Azure, and VMware.
• Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management experience.
• IBM MQexperience.
• Disaster Recovery and capacity/performance management experience.
