Quality Assurance Team Lead

Start Date: 28th September 2026 - 6 Month Contract

Rate: Competitive Inside IR35

Location: Remote

Role Purpose:

Working within the Regulatory Assurance function, lead a small team of 2nd Line Customer Outcomes testers, providing independent assurance over end to end customer outcomes across the Motor Finance Commissions programme through SSS and targeted risk-based testing. Supporting to embed the newly rolled-out 2nd Line QA framework and scorecard.

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee delivery of the 2nd Line QA testing plan, ensuring appropriate coverage of SSS and risk-based areas.
  
• Manage and coach the testing team, ensuring consistent application of the testing methodology and quality of judgements
  
• Review and assure testing outcomes, particularly complex, high-risk or contentious cases
  
• Identify and flag trends, systemic issues, customer detriment or emerging risks
  
• Identify and recommend to the Regulatory Assurance Lead where expanded testing or deep dives should take place
  

 

Experience / Skills;

• Strong Financial Service QA, compliance monitoring, outcomes testing or assurance experience.
  
• Previous experience leading QA/assurance teams and overseeing case-based testing.
  
• Strong judgement with the ability to identify systemic risk and potential customer detriment.
  
• Confident senior stakeholder management, challenge and escalation skills.
