Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal controls within a fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor compliance with CBN regulations, AML/CFT/CPF, KYC, NDPA, and payment industry requirements.
Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and control testing.
Develop and review compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
Monitor and investigate compliance breaches and regulatory incidents.
Support regulatory reporting, audits, inspections, and engagements with regulators.
Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on their impact.
Work with Risk, Internal Audit, IT, Information Security, Finance, and Legal teams on compliance matters.
Monitor AML/KYC, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and customer due diligence processes.
Track compliance findings and ensure timely remediation.
Provide compliance guidance and training to employees.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
7+ years' experience in compliance, risk, audit, AML, banking, fintech, or financial services.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial services and fintech regulatory requirements.
Experience in AML/CFT, KYC, regulatory risk, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
Strong analytical, communication, investigation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Relevant certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CISA, CRISC, or CFE will be an advantage.
