Frontend Engineer Intern

About the role
A leading logistics provider based in Dubai is currently refining its operational framework to better manage fleet efficiency and regional distribution. We require a Frontend Engineer Intern to support the development of internal tools and data visualizations that will provide the client's leadership with clearer oversight of their supply chain. This position exists to bridge the gap between complex logistical data and the functional interfaces needed to make high-stakes corporate decisions.

What you will do

• Build and maintain functional user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript.
• Translate wireframes and requirements into clean, readable code for the logistics client mandate.
• Collaborate with principals to ensure the frontend reflects the necessary portfolio clarity for the end users.
• Write clear documentation for every component and interface logic developed during the internship.
• Assist in connecting frontend elements to various internal APIs and data sources.
• Test and debug interfaces to ensure consistent performance across different web browsers.
• Participate in design reviews where the focus is on functional utility rather than unnecessary visual complexity.
• Provide regular updates on progress during remote check-ins with the project lead.

What we are looking for

• A foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Basic familiarity with React or a similar component-based framework through coursework or personal projects.
• Strong logical reasoning and the ability to break down complex tasks into manageable steps.
• Precision in written communication, as clear writing is central to how we function as a remote firm.
• A high degree of curiosity regarding how technology supports corporate governance and strategy.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule in a remote setting.
