Warehouse Specialist

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Warehouse Specialist to join our client’s building supply and home improvement team. This opportunity bridges the gap between expert customer sales and warehouse logistics. You will assist retail customers and professional contractors through selecting products, managing inventory, and ensuring quality assurance. 

 

Responsibilities:

·       Showroom sales and Customer Service

Consult with retail customers and contractors; Provide guidance and process orders.

·       Warehouse Operations and Stock Inventory

Manage inventory of incoming trucks; maintain the showroom and warehouse floors; safely stage, wrap and prep orders for pickup/delivery.

·       Quality Assurance and Material Handling

Inspect merchandise before items reach customers; safely move products and utilize material-handling equipment.

Requirements

Experience:

●      Minimum of 2 years of sales experience specifically dealing with home and building supplies.

●      Background working in a warehouse, general millwork or building supply environment

●      Prior experience working with customers, vendors and contractors dealing with windows and doors is Big Plus!

Physical Capability

●      Ability to continuously stand, bend and lift or move heavy products

Customer Service

●      Strong communication skills

●      Friendly helpful attitude toward both retail buyers and contractors.

Technical Skills

●      Basic computer proficiency.

●      POS entry experience is a plus.

●      Ability to accurately read a tape measure

●      Forklift experience is highly preferred.
