About the Opportunity:

KLS Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a premier, high-volume specialty healthcare practice in Southwest Atlanta. This is a temp-to-hire position offering a pathway to permanent employment within a respected community medical group. This role is ideal for a clinical professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working across multiple office locations in the Atlanta metro area.

The Position:

As a Medical Assistant, you will provide critical clinical and administrative support, ensuring an efficient and warm experience for patients from check-in to check-out. You will work closely with physicians to deliver high-quality care in a specialty setting. We are looking for candidates with strong foundational skills in outpatient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate patient intake by capturing vitals and updating medical histories in the EHR.

- Perform clinical procedures including blood draws (phlebotomy), EKGs, and point-of-care testing.

- Assist providers during physical exams and minor clinical procedures.

- Maintain a clean, sterile, and well-stocked clinical environment.

- Manage administrative tasks such as lab follow-ups and prescription refills.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an outpatient, primary care, or urgent care environment.

- Active CMA or RMA credential (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent).

- Active BLS/CPR certification.

- Proficiency with EHR software (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic, or AthenaHealth).

- Strong phlebotomy and communication skills.

- Flexibility to travel between office locations in Fulton County and DeKalb County based on the doctor's schedule.
