The Opportunity

As Consultant Geriatrician, you'll provide specialist clinical leadership across Geriatric Medicine while contributing to General Medicine and supporting rehabilitation, subacute and community-based services.

This is a highly rewarding role where you'll work closely with fellow Physicians, nursing and allied health teams to deliver comprehensive, person-centred care that promotes independence, healthy ageing and coordinated patient journeys.

About You

You will bring:

• Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine, or equivalent qualifications recognised by the RACP
  

• Applicants assessed by the RACP as substantially or partially comparable, including those suitable for Area of Need appointments, are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities
*   Provide thorough geriatric assessments and manage inpatient cases with a dedicated focus on person-centered care.

*   Conduct clinical evaluations for patients attending the Community Hospital.

Requirements
*   Maintain current registration or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
*   Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine or possess equivalent qualifications recognized by the RACP.
