We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading Nursing Home in Co Kildare.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person-centred care, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.
  

• Prepare and administer medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and An Bord Altranais guidelines.
  

• Ensure service users’ hygiene, personal care and dignity are maintained to the highest standards while promoting their comfort and wellbeing.
  

• Act on behalf of the Director of Nursing during their absence or in emergency situations, supporting the effective management of clinical services.
  

• Plan and allocate staff according to clinical needs, ensuring appropriate skill mix, experience and continuity of care, while managing fair and accurate staff rotas and leave arrangements.
  

• Work closely with the Director of Nursing on service planning, budgeting and resource management, including the effective use of supplies, equipment and stock levels.
  

• Lead by example by fostering a positive team ethos, motivating and supporting staff, and providing guidance, training and supervision to junior nursing and care staff.
  

Requirements

Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.

Proven track record in team leadership and performance management.

At least 3 years’ experience in Care of the Elderly.

Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Strong ability to lead, motivate, and support a multidisciplinary team.

Management qualification is desirable.
