Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Java Production Support and Development specialist within the IT Services sector. This pivotal role is dedicated to ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical enterprise applications. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between development and operations, focusing on the maintenance of complex systems while leveraging expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to drive operational excellence and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Manage and sustain the lifecycle of Java-based applications, ensuring high availability and optimal performance in production environments.
  
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues, implementing effective long-term fixes.
  
• Provide comprehensive application support and maintenance, addressing incidents and service requests with speed and accuracy.
  
• Utilize SAP BTP tools and capabilities to enhance application functionality, monitor system health, and facilitate seamless integrations.
  
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy updates, patches, and enhancements while maintaining strict adherence to production stability protocols.
  
• Proactively identify potential system vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks, recommending and executing necessary improvements.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess 6 to 8 years of professional experience in Java development and production support within the IT Services industry.
  
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Java programming and a solid understanding of application maintenance principles.
  
• Show proven expertise in utilizing SAP BTP for application development, deployment, and management.
  
• Exhibit strong analytical skills with a track record of effective troubleshooting and precise root cause analysis.
  
• Have a deep familiarity with production support methodologies, incident management, and application maintenance lifecycles.
  
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing immediate support needs with strategic development initiatives.
