Role Focus

Teaching, Assessment & Student Academic Progress.

Key Skills Required

• Explain complex Biology concepts clearly and accurately.
  
• Differentiate teaching according to student ability and diagnose misconceptions.
  
• Design lesson plans, worksheets, tests and revision material.
  
• Assess student performance and provide actionable feedback.
  
• Prepare students for IBDP & IGCSE examinations.
  
• Strong scientific reasoning, experimental data interpretation and classroom management skills.
  
• Effective parent communication and use of LMS/academic trackers.

• Cell Biology, Membranes, Transport & Microscopy
  
• Molecular Biology, Enzymes, Respiration & Photosynthesis
  
• Genetics, Inheritance, Gene Expression & Biotechnology
  
• Human Physiology & Homeostasis
  
• Ecology, Evolution, Biodiversity & Conservation
  
• Plant Biology
  
• Experimental Design, Data Analysis & Scientific Evaluation
  
• IBDP Internal Assessment & Scientific Communication.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related discipline.
  
• Strong senior-secondary Biology knowledge and excellent English communication.
  
• Ability to teach through English.
  
• Prior IBDP/IGCSE teaching experience and IB/Cambridge training preferred.
