Head – B2B Marketing & Business Development (Plain Gold Jewellery)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to grow B2B sales across India.
  
• Identify and acquire new jewellery retailers, wholesalers, chains and institutional buyers.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing B2B customers.
  
• Develop dealer/distributor networks in key jewellery markets.
  
• Identify new cities, markets and customer segments for expansion.
  
• Regularly visit important jewellery markets and customers.
  
• Create and implement annual B2B marketing strategies for Plain Gold Jewellery.
  
• Study competitors, pricing, collections, making charges and market trends.
  
• Identify fast-moving designs, categories and customer requirements.
  
• Generate qualified B2B leads through exhibitions, references, market visits, digital platforms and industry networks.
  
• Plan and manage jewellery exhibitions, trade shows and B2B events.
  
• Track leads from enquiry to conversion.
  
• Monitor market trends and provide regular market feedback to management.
  
• Build and manage a strong B2B Marketing / Business Development team.
  
• Set and monitor monthly and annual targets.
  
• Coordinate with Sales, Design, Production, Merchandising, QC and Management teams.
  
• Coordinate new collection launches and promotional activities.
  

Requirements

• Graduate
  
• Experience Required – 8–15 years
  
• Strong experience in B2B Marketing / Business Development, preferably in the jewellery industry.
  
• Strong experience in Plain Gold Jewellery will be highly preferred.
  
• Existing relationships with jewellery retailers, wholesalers and chains will be an advantage.
  
• Strong understanding of the Indian jewellery market.
  
• Proven track record of generating B2B business and acquiring new customers.
  
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  
• Strong commercial and analytical understanding.
  
• Ability to build and lead a high-performing team.
  
• Candidates from Plain Gold Jewellery Manufacturers, Jewellery Wholesalers, Jewellery Brands, Jewellery Distributors or B2B Jewellery Companies will be preferred.
