Clinical Nurse Manager (Predominantly Night Shift)

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager (Predominantly Night Shift) to lead a nursing home in Dublin, Ireland.

This role will primarily involve working night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the provision of a high standard of care to the residents and families in Name of Unit is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the Nursing Home
  

• Develop relationships with residents, which facilitates resident autonomy, informed choice, and evidence-based decision-making
  

• Promote and maintain resident safety and provide quality care by respecting the privacy, dignity, and rights of the resident
  

• Assist residents in maintaining their sense of identity and include them in decision-making whenever possible
  

• Ensure the Nursing Home is operated in a manner that respects the age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, family status, civil status, race, religious beliefs and ethnic & cultural background of each resident
  

• Plan, assess and deliver resident care that maximises the resident’s capacity to exercise personal autonomy and choice, together with all members of the Multidisciplinary Care Team.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Eligible to register or currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  

• Two to three years of minimum appropriate post-registration experience.
  

• Post-registration training in dementia care and/or gerontology is very desirable.
  

• Leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical expertise that may be demonstrated.
  

• Needed to be qualified to work in Ireland.
