Assist in drafting press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials for distribution.
Support the coordination of media events, press conferences, and promotional activities.
Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports on brand sentiment and industry trends.
Help manage relationships with journalists, influencers, and other key media contacts.
Contribute to the creation of social media content and digital communication strategies.
Conduct research on industry developments and competitor activities to inform PR tactics.
Provide administrative support to the public relations team as needed.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Possesses 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience or internship background.
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
Shows a solid understanding of media landscapes and public relations principles.
Exhibits the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Displays creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Is based in or willing to relocate to Nairobi, Kenya.
