Require a Marketing Sales intern in Lusaka , Zambia

• Market and promote Maiden’s books, printing services and other products and services.
  
• Identify prospective customers and generate new sales leads.
  
• Conduct sales visits and follow up with schools, institutions, bookshops, organisations and other potential clients.
  
• Follow up quotations and customer enquiries with the aim of converting them into sales.
  
• Assist with preparing quotations, sales correspondence and maintaining customer records.
  
• Support the company’s Facebook, LinkedIn and other digital marketing activities.
  
• Assist with exhibitions, promotions and other marketing activities.
  
• Handle general office administration, filing, correspondence and record keeping.
  
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and WhatsApp.
  
• Provide other marketing, sales and administrative support as required.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Public Relations or a related field.
  
• Previous exposure to marketing or sales will be an added advantage.
  
• Must be computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, email and internet applications.
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Confident, presentable and comfortable approaching and engaging potential customers.
  
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
  
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
  
• Willing and able to undertake field marketing and customer visits.
  
• Knowledge of social media marketing will be an added advantage.
