JHC Consulting
Project Management Assistant
Brussels, BEOn-sitePermanentFull-time
Posted Aug 24, 2026
p>JHC Consulting is an independent advisory practice that provides counsel to heads of industry, board committees, and chief executives. We are a small and deliberate firm, focusing on governance, strategy, and leadership questions where the internal view requires external challenge. Our work is currently centered on a significant engagement with a European regulatory body, where we are providing high level analysis on institutional structures. We are seeking a Project Management Assistant to join this mandate. This is a permanent, entry level position that is fully remote, offering an individual at the start of their career the chance to observe and support the highest levels of corporate advisory.
The Role
In this role, you will support the operational flow of our advisory mandates. You will not be building slide decks or managing complex software suites. Instead, your work focuses on the coordination of the written word and the meticulous organization of research materials. Your day to day activity involves ensuring that our principals have the necessary documentation to conduct their analysis and that the administrative lifecycle of a memorandum is managed with precision.
We are looking for an individual who values clarity and intellectual honesty. While this is an entry level role, we require a high degree of maturity and a fundamental respect for the discipline of writing. You should be someone who prefers a quiet afternoon of reading and organizing over the noise of typical corporate ceremonies. The following traits and backgrounds are helpful:
At JHC Consulting, we believe that writing is thinking. We do not participate in the standard rituals of management consulting, such as brainstorming workshops or lengthy presentations. Every engagement results in a signed memorandum, authored by the person who did the reading and conducted the analysis. This single author model ensures that every claim is accounted for and every argument is tested. As a Project Management Assistant, you are the guardian of this process, ensuring that the environment remains organized and that the principals can focus on the scrutiny of the evidence.
Working at JHC Consulting
This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from a location of your choice. We value the autonomy of our staff and provide a work environment that is professional, quiet, and focused on output rather than hours spent at a desk. The firm is kept small by design to ensure the quality of our work remains high and our counsel remains private. This is a paid position, and the compensation is attractive and competitive for an entry level role in the advisory sector. You will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of governance and strategy while contributing to a significant mandate for a European regulatory body.
The work at JHC Consulting carries a high degree of individual accountability. Because every page we produce eventually bears the author's name at the foot, we operate with a level of care and discretion that is rare in larger firms. We expect everyone who joins us, regardless of their level, to uphold these standards. The Project Management Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our record keeping and the efficiency of our advisory practice, ensuring that our written counsel remains a rigorous and reliable record for years to come.
