Cet emploi est publié en EN
We are currently helping a major financial services provider untangle a complicated set of manual workflows that have slowed their operations down. The Project Manager Intern will assist in coordinating the efforts to fix these broken approval chains and consolidate backlogs. This is a fully remote role where you will learn how to identify operational drag and help move a project toward a clean, stable cutover. You will focus on the details of how tasks move from one team to another and where those tasks get stuck.
About Tech Pipeline
We prioritize written updates over long meetings. At Tech Pipeline, we believe that if it is not documented, it did not happen. We use a decision log to keep track of why choices were made, and we expect everyone to contribute to the runbooks and SOPs. Our goal is always to leave the client in a better state than we found them, which means the systems we build must be simple enough for their own team to manage. We focus on getting the work done efficiently from our remote locations so that the client can stop using workarounds and get back to their core business. The position is fully remote and operates on the principle of named ownership and clear, simple communication.
About Tech Pipeline
- We focus on the friction and operational drag that slows companies down.
- We fix broken approval chains, manual reconciliations, and systems that do not talk to each other.
- We bridge the gap between the software a client already owns and the work that needs to happen.
- We look into logs and configurations to find where data goes bad or where a process has degraded.
- We avoid abstract frameworks and instead build specific routing rules and updated SOPs.
- We stay through the cutover and the first month of live operation to ensure the fix holds.
- We leave once the client team can run the process independently without our help.
- We believe the tools a company already owns are usually the right place for a fix.
- Track the progress of specific routing rules being updated for our financial services client.
- Review internal SOPs to ensure they match the actual work happening in the system logs.
- Keep the decision log updated so every change has a clear reason and a named owner.
- Gather requirements for manual reconciliations that need to be converted into automated rules.
- Attend technical syncs to note where workarounds are being used instead of the intended process.
- Assist in drafting the runbooks that will be used during the live cutover phase.
- Monitor the first month of operation after a fix to ensure no new operational drag appears.
- Update project timelines based on the actual speed of configuration changes and testing.
- Organize documentation so that the client can easily find instructions for their new workflows.
- A strong interest in how business operations and software work together to get things done.
- The ability to write in plain English without using corporate jargon or filler words.
- A habit of taking detailed notes and organizing information so others can find it quickly.
- Curiosity about why a process broke rather than just wanting to hide the error message.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment with team members in different time zones.
- Basic familiarity with project tracking tools, simple spreadsheets, or task lists.
- A willingness to read through technical documentation to find the source of a problem.
- Experience managing your own time and deadlines during university projects or previous work.
- A logical mindset that enjoys finding the root cause of a delay or a broken link.
- This is a paid internship with a competitive rate for the current market and your level of experience.
- The chance to work on a real, high-stakes project for a large financial services provider.
- Direct exposure to how technical operations are fixed and stabilized in the real world.
- A fully remote work arrangement that respects your schedule and focus time.
- The satisfaction of seeing a project reach a definitive end rather than staying in a permanent loop.
- Mentorship from experienced professionals who value clear documentation and practical results.
