Senior Manager - PMO

Lead and manage end-to-end AMISP projects involving smart meter deployment, system integration, field operations, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management. Responsible for ensuring successful implementation of smart metering programs within timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end AMISP project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  
• Lead large-scale smart meter installation and commissioning activities.
  
• Coordinate with DISCOMs, utilities, vendors, system integrators, and field teams.
  
• Ensure seamless integration of HES, MDM, communication networks, and meter infrastructure.
  
• Track project schedules, budgets, risks, and resource utilization.
  
• Monitor KPIs, SLA adherence, and project performance metrics.
  
• Ensure compliance with utility regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
  
• Drive issue resolution, escalation management, and stakeholder communication.
  
• Prepare project status reports and present updates to senior leadership and customers.
  
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, procurement, and support.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
  
• PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
  
• 12+ years of experience in Energy & Utilities projects, with significant exposure to AMI/Smart Metering programs.
  
• Experience managing utility-scale deployments under RDSS, AMI, or smart grid initiatives.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with Indian DISCOMs and Smart Meter National Program (SMNP)/RDSS projects.
  
• Understanding of RF, Cellular, PLC communication technologies.
  
• Exposure to SAP IS-U, CIS, Billing and Utility Operations would be an advantage.
