Part-Time Morning Cleaner – Penrith

Location: Friargate, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 7QH
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 10 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday
Shift: 8:00am – 10:00am
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary Cover

We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Morning Cleaner to work at a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site in Penrith.

This is a part-time position working 2 hours each morning, Monday to Friday, providing 10 hours of regular work per week.

Duties

• General cleaning throughout the site
  
• Cleaning offices and communal areas
  
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
  
• Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  
• Replenishing consumables where required
  
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building
  

Requirements

Requirements

Due to the nature of the DWP site, successful candidates will be required to complete the necessary pre-employment screening, including:

• BPSS clearance required
  
• Valid Right to Work documentation
  
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
  
• Reliable and punctual
  
• Comfortable with lone working
  
• Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating an alarm panel where required
  
• Able to commit to Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 10:00am
  

Candidates will also be required to use a telephone-based time and attendance system to clock in and out.

£15.00 per hour | 10 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 10:00am
