Senior Project Manager/ Delivery Manager

We seek a Senior Project Manager in Tokyo to serve as the CRES IT APAC Lead. This role will play a central role in supporting technology initiatives across the APAC region, including Japan, and will work closely with local and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Anchor delivery and support for APAC (including Japan), combining project management, application support, and offshore/vendor coordination.
  
• Work with Japan and global stakeholders to plan and deliver regional and firm-wide initiatives.
  
• Vendor/offshore coordination: requirements, delivery, and quality assurance.
  
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and plans.
  

Requirements

What are we looking for:

• 10+ years in IT project management; proven delivery of large or multi-region programs.
  
• Technical fluency across app architectures, integrations, databases, APIs, and cloud/SaaS.
  
• Hands-on application support: operations, incident/problem management, user support, SLAs.
  
• Stakeholder management with senior leaders and end users; clear status reporting.
  
• Governance and security: experience operating within corporate frameworks and controls.
  

Language Requirements:

• Native-level Japanese; strong business-level English; cross-cultural experience.
  

Desirable Requirements:

• Corporate real estate/facilities domain knowledge; familiarity with related SaaS and processes.
  
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master).
  
• Experience in multinational or APAC regional teams.
  
• Financial services or financial institutions experience.
