Mosaic Conseil operates as a small, remote workshop dedicated to rebuilding business artifacts one at a time. We do not produce slide decks or participate in corporate theater. Instead, we take things apart, examine the evidence in the invoice ledger, and put the files back together. Currently, we are working closely with a partner that is a major Spanish infrastructure firm. This Project Management Intern will help us manage the flow of work for this engagement, ensuring that every piece of analysis we deliver meets our standards for precision and evidence.
About Mosaic Conseil
We are a boutique consultancy that prioritizes deep work over standing retainers. Our firm is kept small on purpose so that the people doing the analysis are the same people who answer the phone when a client calls. We focus on four specific rooms: healthcare systems, industrial networks, growing software companies, and financial services. Because we are a fully remote team, we remain independent and focused on the facts at the floor of a business. Our process is personal. Every file we produce carries two names: one person who built the model and one person who argued against it. This builder and challenger model ensures that no assumption goes untested. We return the same artifacts a client sends us, but redrawn by hand and supported by a written argument that stands up to scrutiny.
What you would do
In this role, you will be the coordinator for our current project involving a major Spanish infrastructure firm. This involves managing the movement of various business artifacts, such as pricing grids and diligence files, through our internal workshop process. Your daily tasks will include:
This is an internship position, and we do not expect a long history of professional experience. We are looking for individuals who are organized, curious, and comfortable with technical details. The following attributes will help you succeed in this role:
We work in a quiet, remote environment that favors long periods of focus. There are no meetings here that we did not specifically schedule for a clear purpose. We do not use internal messaging for everything: we use documents and written arguments. Every person on the team is responsible for the integrity of the work. As an intern, you will see the builder and challenger dynamic firsthand. You will learn how to audit a business artifact against the reality of its invoices and how to defend an analytical position with evidence rather than slides. Our independence is our most valuable asset, and we maintain it by staying small and remote.
What the role offers
This is a paid internship, and the compensation is competitive for the current market and the level of responsibility. Because the role is fully remote, you have the autonomy to manage your own workspace and schedule within the needs of the project. You will gain direct experience in high level business analysis and project coordination for a major infrastructure engagement. We provide a space where you can do meaningful work without the distractions of a traditional office or the fluff of standard consulting practices. You will learn how to build business cases that are based on evidence rather than optimism.
The work we do is handled on paper and backed by a telephone number. We take pride in the fact that we can answer for every number we put into a pricing grid or a three year plan. This internship is an invitation to learn that discipline and to help us maintain it as we support our partners in the infrastructure sector.

- Tracking the status of every file as it moves from the builder to the challenger.
- Assisting in the gathering of evidence from financial ledgers to support our written arguments.
- Maintaining the project timeline to ensure all artifacts are returned to the partner within the agreed window.
- Organizing the documentation that supports our ninety day telephone support guarantee for completed files.
- Documenting the specific assumptions made during the rebuilding process for future reference.
- Reviewing written arguments for clarity and logical consistency before they are finalized.
- Communicating updates to the team regarding the progress of specific infrastructure sub-projects.

- A strong interest in how large scale infrastructure projects are managed and funded.
- The ability to write clearly and logically without using corporate jargon.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment where clear written communication is essential.
- An organized approach to managing tasks and keeping track of multiple moving parts.
- A willingness to ask questions when the evidence in a file does not seem to match the written argument.
- Basic knowledge of project management principles, even if only through academic projects.
