CNC Swiss Programmer / Setup Machinist

Requirements

A precision, regulated manufacturer with a medical device focus seeks an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer to program, setup, and optimize Star Swiss lathes producing high-precision medical device components. Machines: Star SR-20J, Star SR-20RIV (Ra), Star SV-20.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, setup, and optimize Star Swiss lathes
  
• Develop processes for tight-tolerance medical device components
  
• Create and modify CNC programs in CAD/CAM
  
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times
  
• Select tooling, set cutting parameters, and optimize performance
  
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
  
• Support machinists during setup and production runs
  
• Validate processes through first article inspections and process verification
  
• Machine stainless, titanium, aluminum, plastics, and specialty alloys

• Preferred: medical device, aerospace, or military/defense; PartMaker; macro programming; process development; tooling design
