Draftsman (Pump Design)

Summary
We are seeking a skilled Draftsman specializing in Pump Design to join our IT Services team. In this vital role, you will translate engineering concepts into precise technical documentation, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the design lifecycle, facilitating seamless collaboration between engineering and production departments, and maintaining high standards for mechanical components and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using Solid Edge or equivalent CAD software for pump components and assemblies.
  
• Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) to support procurement and inventory management.
  
• Develop comprehensive welding and fabrication drawings, ensuring compliance with industry specifications.
  
• Generate sheet metal and machining drawings with precise tolerances and dimensions.
  
• Utilize PLM/ERP systems to manage design data, revisions, and workflow integration.
  
• Produce clear manufacturing and assembly drawings that guide the production floor effectively.
  
• Apply mechanical drafting and detailing principles to ensure all documentation is error-free and professional.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical drafting and design.
  
• Demonstrate proficiency in Solid Edge, with strong knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software.
  
• Show practical understanding of welding, fabrication, sheet metal forming, and machining processes.
  
• Have prior exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
  
• Exhibit the ability to produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings independently.
  
• Maintain a salary expectation within the range of ₹3-5 LPA.
