Data Management Practitioner – Graph Databases

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Management Practitioner specializing in Graph Databases to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage deep expertise in ontology management and advanced data modeling to architect and maintain complex knowledge graphs. Your work will be central to integrating unstructured data sources, enabling sophisticated retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and optimizing data pipelines for high-performance analytics. This position demands a professional who can bridge the gap between theoretical data structures and practical, scalable engineering solutions within a dynamic technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and govern ontologies to ensure data consistency and semantic interoperability across the organization.
  
• Develop and maintain vector databases to support advanced search capabilities and RAG architectures for AI-driven applications.
  
• Architect robust APIs and microservices to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration with external systems.
  
• Validate data integrity and schema compliance using standards such as SHACL and ShEx within graph environments.
  
• Build and optimize ETL and ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load diverse data sets into graph storage solutions.
  
• Manage graph database systems, with a specific focus on Neo4j, to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
  
• Utilize Python frameworks to develop custom data processing scripts, automation tools, and analytical utilities.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess 8 to 12 years of professional experience in data management, data engineering, or related IT services domains.
  
• Demonstrate proven proficiency in Ontology Management and the application of semantic web standards.
  
• Have hands-on experience working with Vector Databases and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns.
  
• Show strong competency in designing and consuming APIs within a microservices architecture.
  
• Be well-versed in data validation frameworks, specifically SHACL and ShEx.
  
• Exhibit extensive background in constructing ETL and ELT pipelines for large-scale data operations.
  
• Hold deep technical knowledge of Graph Databases, particularly Neo4j, including query optimization and administration.
  
• Be skilled in Python programming for data manipulation, automation, and framework development.
  
• Be available for a compensation package ranging from ₹18 to ₹22 LPA.
