Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Graph Database Team Lead / Consultant to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced graph-based data solutions. In this pivotal role, you will drive the strategic integration of knowledge graphs and vector databases to enhance data governance, quality, and analytical capabilities. You will be responsible for architecting scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and developing robust APIs and microservices that leverage the unique power of graph data modeling. This position is critical for organizations aiming to unlock deep insights from complex, interconnected data sets, ensuring that technical innovations align with business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and schema development for complex graph data models, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  
• Oversee the end-to-end creation and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines tailored for graph databases, facilitating seamless data ingestion and transformation.
  
• Direct the implementation of data governance frameworks and quality assurance protocols, utilizing standards such as SHACL and ShEx to validate data integrity.
  
• Architect and deploy secure APIs and microservices that enable efficient interaction with graph databases and external systems.
  
• Drive innovation in the application of vector databases and Large Language Models (LLMs), specifically focusing on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) strategies.
  
• Manage the development of knowledge graph ecosystems, fostering collaboration between data engineers, scientists, and business stakeholders.
  
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, particularly within the Neo4j ecosystem and Python frameworks, to maintain a competitive technological edge.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess 8-12 years of professional experience in data engineering, software development, or related technical fields.
  
• Demonstrate deep expertise in Graph Database technologies, with a strong preference for hands-on experience with Neo4j.
  
• Proven track record in designing and implementing data governance strategies and ensuring high data quality across distributed systems.
  
• Advanced proficiency in building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
  
• Strong command of API development and microservices architecture principles.
  
• Solid experience with knowledge graph construction, data modeling, and schema design.
  
• Familiarity with validation languages such as SHACL and ShEx for defining graph constraints.
  
• Competence in working with Vector Databases and integrating LLM/RAG solutions into existing data architectures.
  
• Extensive programming skills, particularly in Python and its associated frameworks.
  
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
