Internal Sales

ACDC Express is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales  to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in-store, preparing quotations, processing orders, providing technical product advice, and driving sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role is ideal for someone with strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for building lasting customer relationships in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and technical advice.
  
• Generate quotations and follow up on outstanding quotes.
  
• Process customer orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
  
• Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email, and in-store.
  
• Promote products, specials, and marketing campaigns.
  
• Achieve individual and store sales targets.
  
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  
• Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company procedures.
  
• Perform daily cash-ups and balance transactions.
  
• Assist with stock receiving, stock counts, and general store operations when required.
  

Requirements

Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
1–3 years' experience in internal sales or a retail sales environment.
Experience in the electrical, hardware, wholesale, or retail industry will be advantageous.
Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills.
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Experience using POS and invoicing systems will be advantageous.
Good numerical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Valid Code B driver's licence and own transport will be advantageous.
Clear criminal and credit record.
