- Maintain and manage monthly accounting records, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and accounts are maintained up to date.
- Prepare and complete monthly closing activities, including review of ledgers, account schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Perform regular bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in accordance with applicable UAE VAT regulations and ensure proper maintenance of VAT-related records.
- Manage monthly salary payment activities, ensuring payroll-related payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and process supplier payments, ensuring proper verification of invoices, approvals, supporting documents, and payment schedules.
- Monitor outstanding supplier balances and coordinate with relevant internal teams and suppliers regarding payment-related matters.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide the required financial records, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents during audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management reports as required.
- Ensure accounting transactions are recorded in accordance with company policies, accounting principles, and applicable UAE regulations.
- Coordinate with banks, suppliers, auditors, management, and internal departments on finance and accounting-related matters.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and support timely corrective actions and account adjustments.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.* Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
* Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
* Strong hands-on experience on UAE accounting practices, VAT, and financial reporting.
* Proven experience handling full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
* Strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance and VAT return preparation.
* Experience in preparing financial statements, management reports, account schedules, and reconciliations.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
* Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting/ERP systems.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial procedures.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently, take ownership of accounting activities, and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
* Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
* Candidates available to join on short notice will be preferred.

- Ability to work independently, take ownership of accounting activities, and meet monthly deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for dealing with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal departments.
