Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide general surgery call coverage 24 hours per shift with a 2-hour callback time
  
• Perform emergency surgeries including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and GI endoscopy as needed
  
• Coordinate with 24-hour CRNA coverage for anesthesia support
  
• Utilize lab and imaging services available 24/7 for patient management
  
• Manage assigned patient rounding and follow-up care during call periods
