Retail Butchery Supervisor

Full-time | No nights or weekends | Early Friday knock-off

Continental Kosher Butchers is looking for an organised, hands-on supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation of our Malvern retail store.

We’re a family business serving our community since 1945, with a proud tradition of quality products, personal service and lasting customer relationships. We’re looking for someone who shares that pride and can bring out the best in the people around them.

The role

You’ll be actively involved on the shop floor, supporting your team and making sure customers receive friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service. Your responsibilities will include:

• Organising daily tasks and coordinating the team to keep the store running smoothly.
  

• Leading by example in customer service, teamwork and presentation.
  

• Supporting and guiding staff with clear communication and constructive feedback.
  

• Maintaining attractive displays, stock availability and sound stock rotation.
  

• Handling customer enquiries and concerns professionally.
  

• Upholding food safety, hygiene and handling requirements.
  

• Communicating with production and management about stock needs and operational issues.
  

About you

• Experience in meat retail is essential.
  

• Strong people skills are essential: you communicate clearly, build relationships and treat customers and colleagues with respect.
  

• You’re well organised, reliable and comfortable setting priorities.
  

• You enjoy a fast-paced environment and stay calm when things get busy.
  

• You take initiative, notice what needs doing and are happy to roll up your sleeves.
  

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience would be highly regarded.
  

• A butcher’s qualification is an advantage, but is not required.
