Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Sourcing Engineer with hands-on experience in sourcing and procurement of machining, casting, stamping, and sheet metal components. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of vendor development, part development, manufacturing processes, and cost analysis, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Source mechanical components including machining, casting, stamping, and sheet metal parts.
  
• Conduct cost analysis and support RFQ activities to ensure competitive sourcing.
  
• Drive vendor identification, evaluation, qualification, and development activities.
  
• Manage part development activities from RFQ stage through production readiness.
  
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
  
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and identify cost optimization opportunities.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material availability and adherence to delivery schedules.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers during RFQ, project execution, and product development phases.
  
• Maintain supplier performance metrics related to quality, cost, and delivery.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, ISO requirements, and aerospace/industry standards where applicable.
  
• Utilize SAP and MS Office tools for procurement planning, reporting, and documentation.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Mechanical Sourcing, Procurement, or Vendor Development.
  
• Strong experience in sourcing Sheet Metal, Machining, Casting, and Stamping components.
  
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings, manufacturing processes, and cost estimation.
  
• Experience in vendor development and supplier relationship management.
  
• Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications.
  
• Familiarity with ISO/AS standards and quality requirements.
  
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
