Responsibilities

1. Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and pre-authorization requirements.
   

2. Prepare and submit accurate claims in line with hospital and payer procedures.
   

3. Track claim status, investigate rejections, and support resubmissions and appeals.
   

4. Maintain billing records and coordinate with patients, insurers, and hospital departments to resolve billing queries.
   

Requirements

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
   

2. Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience, preferably in a hospital.
   

3. Knowledge of insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and payer requirements.
   

4. Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital billing or EHR systems.
   

5. Strong attention to detail, communication, and follow-up skills.
