We are seeking an experienced Director of Product to lead the development and evolution of our Risk & Compliance Platform.
This platform is a foundational capability for the business, enabling not only internal teams but also supporting the scaling of Risk & Compliance as a service to external customers and partners. It provides standardised APIs, workflows, and configuration layers that allow risk controls to be embedded consistently across products and markets.
The Director will be responsible for defining the platform’s product strategy, driving execution, and ensuring it enables scalable, consistent, and auditable risk outcomes across a growing, multi-product ecosystem.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Product to lead the development and evolution of our Risk & Compliance Platform.

It provides standardised APIs, workflows, and configuration layers that allow risk controls to be embedded consistently across products and markets.
The Director will be responsible for defining the platform’s product strategy, driving execution, and ensuring it enables scalable, consistent, and auditable risk outcomes across a growing, multi-product ecosystem.
What to expect:
Product strategy
- Define and evolve the Risk Platform product strategy
- Translate regulatory, operational, and business needs into a clear product roadmap
- Ensure alignment with company growth, regulatory expectations, and externalisation of risk capabilities
Platform Capability Definition
- Own the design and evolution of platform capabilities, including: Risk decisioning and controls; Restrictions, recovery, and remediation flows
- Shared primitives (identity, signals, policies, orchestration)
- Define clear product abstractions that support reuse across products and use cases
- Ensure consistent risk behaviour across geographies and product lines
API & Platform Design
- Drive development of standardised APIs and integration models
- Ensure the platform provides a single, coherent interface for all risk-related interactions
- Maintain strong governance around: versioning, compatibility, auditability
Product Delivery & Execution
- Lead a team of Product Managers across platform domains
- Partner closely with Engineering leadership to deliver platform capabilities
- Own prioritisation of the platform backlog
- Ensure delivery meets expectations for scalability, reliability, and compliance
Adoption & Integration
- Drive platform adoption across internal product teams and external use cases
- Enable integration through well-defined, reusable interfaces
- Minimise bespoke implementations and fragmentation across the organisation
Platform as a Service (Internal & External)
- Ensure the platform supports risk and compliance capabilities as a service, both: Internally (to product teams); Externally (to partners and customers where applicable)
- Define capabilities that scale across: Multiple products; Multiple geographies; External integration contexts
Product Quality & Consistency
- Ensure risk decisions and outcomes are: Consistent, Explainable, Auditable
- Maintain integrity of platform behaviour and data models
- Continuously improve platform performance and reliability
To be successful you need to have:
Experience
- Proven experience as a Product Leader (Director level or equivalent)
- Strong track record building platform products (APIs, shared services, developer platforms)
- Experience in risk, compliance, fintech, or regulated environments preferred
- Experience working across complex, multi-team organisations
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong product strategy and platform thinking
- Deep understanding of API-driven architectures and scalable systems
- Ability to simplify complex domains into clear, reusable abstractions
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
- Outcome-oriented and data-driven decision-making
