Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Job Summary
The Benefits and Eligibility Specialist reviews applications for public assistance programs and determines applicant and recipient eligibility. This position conducts interactive interviews, gathers and verifies information, ensures applications are complete and accurate, and follows up with applicants when additional documentation is required.
Key Responsibilities
Review and process applications for public assistance programs.
Conduct interviews and gather information to determine eligibility.
Verify application details, supporting documents, and applicant information.
Follow up with applicants to obtain missing or additional information.
Explain program rules, policies, eligibility requirements, and available benefits.
Help applicants identify and access appropriate assistance programs.
Address customer questions and concerns and provide suitable resolutions.
Communicate with claimants, representatives, employers, doctors, and state and federal agencies.
Maintain accurate and confidential case information.
Travel to off-site meetings, training sessions, or conferences when required.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of customer service experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to conduct interviews and collect accurate information.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to explain policies and procedures clearly.
Comfortable working 100% onsite.
Reliable transportation.
Must be available to start on September 21, 2026 and complete expedited onboarding.
