We are hiring a Staff Nurse for one of the best Nursing Home in Dublin,Ireland
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to elderly residents.Assess, monitor, and evaluate residents’ health and respond appropriately to changes in their condition.Develop, implement, and regularly review individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.Administer medications safely and accurately, maintaining appropriate documentation and records.Support, supervise, and mentor junior nurses and care staff to maintain high clinical standards.Assist with shift management, staff allocation, and the smooth running of the unit.Communicate effectively with residents, families, GPs, and other healthcare professionals regarding residents’ care.Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control procedures, health and safety policies, and regulatory requirements.Respond promptly to clinical emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately.Promote residents’ dignity, independence, choice, and overall quality of life.Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for residents and staff.
Minimum 2 years’ post-registration nursing experience in Ireland.
Significant experience in elderly care or nursing home settings.
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medication management, clinical assessment, and person-centred care.Previous experience in supervising, mentoring, or supporting junior nursing and care staff is desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organisational, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.Genuine passion for providing compassionate and high-quality care to elderly residents.Good understanding of infection control, health and safety, and clinical governance.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Requirements
Registered Nurse with a valid NMBI PIN.Minimum 2 years’ post-registration nursing experience in Ireland.
